Igoe joins the ranks as two depart

IN football news is like London buses, nothing to write about so I try and conjure up some rubbish, and now two newsworthy stories come along at once. Anway here it is…

SAMMY Igoe has decided to jump on board the Hereford United bandwagon for the remainder of the season to help push the Bulls over the automatic promotion line.

The 32 year old midfielder has played for a whole host of clubs including Portsmouth, Reading, Luton Milwall, Swindon and lastly Bristol Rovers.

Igoe will become the oldest player in the squad, just beating striker Steve Guinan by a few months and will be able to offer some much needed experience to the younger squad players.

TWO of Hereford United’s promising youngsters have gone the other way, leaving the club on loan until the end of the season.

Craig Jones and Jordan Fitzpatrick have both agreed to go and help out down at Bromsgrove Rovers which will also give them some much needed first team practice.
